A few simple steps are enough to keep your shoes looking beautiful for longer.
Daily care
- Let your shoes rest for a day between wears to allow the interior to dry
- Use shoe trees or tissue paper to help them maintain their shape
- Store them away from light, ideally in their dust bag or box
Smooth and patent materials
A soft, slightly damp cloth is enough to remove dust and marks. Dry immediately with a dry cloth. Avoid solvents, alcohol, and leather-care products, which may dull the surface.
Suede effect
Brush gently with a soft brush, always in the same direction, to restore the nap. A suede eraser removes small marks. A waterproofing spray suitable for synthetic materials, applied before the first wear, protects against stains; test it first on an inconspicuous area.
Satin and embellishments
Satin, bows and decorative details are sensitive to water and friction. Blot without rubbing and avoid wearing them in the rain.
After getting caught in the rain
Never dry your shoes near a radiator: heat deforms the material and loosens the soles. Stuff them with absorbent paper and let them dry at room temperature.
Leather insoles
For models that feature them, let the interior breathe after each wear and avoid getting the insole wet.
